COMMON QUESTIONS
One link.
One current owner.
What is YOINKED?
YOINKED is one shared public redirect: /go. Pay the live minimum and that URL points to your verified destination until somebody else takes control.
What do I get?
While you are the current owner, /go redirects to your destination. Your claim also appears in the public history.
Why share /go?
Because every owner uses the same link. If you share /go while you control it, those copies keep pointing through YOINKED even after the owner changes.
How much does it cost?
The live minimum is shown before checkout. Each successful claim raises the next minimum according to the Rules. You can pay the minimum or choose to pay more.
How long do I keep it?
Until someone pays more, or your destination or payment becomes ineligible under the Rules.
What happens when somebody takes it from me?
The same /go starts redirecting to the new owner. Your completed claim stays in the public history.
What can I point it to?
A public HTTPS product or company homepage, plus supported public GitHub and Product Hunt pages. Destinations must follow the Rules and pass verification.
What if two people try to take it at once?
Control is decided when payment is confirmed. Opening checkout does not reserve the live minimum. A confirmed payment that never takes control because the minimum moved first is handled under the Terms.
How do I inspect or report the current destination?
Use Current owner to see where /go points without following it. Use Report abuse for a prohibited or unsafe destination.
